How to replace the rear axle lower control arm on 2004 Chevrolet Trailblazer?

The first step to replace the rear axle lower control arm requires vehicle elevation along with axle suspension at D-height specification. Recharge the air suspension system when the vehicle contains air suspension technology. To start the job remove the rear axle lower control arm by first unthreading the mounting nut and bolt from the axle then from the frame before taking out the lower control arm itself. Follow these installation steps: Start by installing the lower control arm before working to secure it to the frame using the mounting nut and bolt yet remember the significant information from the Fastener Notice in Service Precautions. Connect the rear axle lower control arm to its axle mounting bolt while inserting a nut before tightening all lower control arm mounting bolts to 100 Nm (74 ft. lbs.).
