Q: How to replace the rear axle lower control arm on Chevrolet Trailblazer?
A: Begin by raising and supporting the vehicle during rear axle lower Control Arm replacement. Next support the rear axle so it rests at the set d-height. First depressurize the air suspension system if your vehicle contains this component. Begin by extracting the rear axle lower Control Arm from both the axle mounting nut and bolt before tackling the frame mounting nut and bolt. Secure the new lower Control Arm to frame mounting nut and bolt while following fastener caution guidelines. Connect the rear axle lower Control Arm to its axle mounting bolt and nut and apply torque to 100 nm (74 lb ft). Tear out the rear axle support before you drop the vehicle.
