How to replace the front sway bar link on 2005 Chevrolet Trailblazer?

The first step to replace a front Sway Bar Link includes supporting the vehicle while it hangs in the air. The Sway Bar Link requires removal of its retaining nut which connects to the sway bar and the lower Control Arm retaining nut before pulling it out. Prying on the Sway Bar Link will damage its boot which could produce additional problems for the Sway Bar Link. Start by placing the Sway Bar Link onto the lower Control Arm then fasten it with the lower Control Arm retaining nut. Lay the Sway Bar Link on to both the sway bar before clamping it with the sway bar retaining nut. Tighten both nuts to 145 nm (107 ft. Lbs.) while keeping in mind the fastener service precautions. Finally, lower the vehicle.
