How to properly service and replace the Mass Air Flow Sensor on 2005 Buick LeSabre?

The first step to replace the air flow meter begins with turning off the ignition then removing the fuel injection sight shield. The air flow meter electrical connector needs removal from where it connects to the air flow meter mounted on the Throttle Body assembly. First remove the air flow meter screws which fasten it to the Throttle Body before taking out the air flow meter itself. Secure the air flow meter to the Throttle Body by using the provided screws according to the service precautions fastener notice with 3 n.m (27 lb in) torque. Reinstall the fuel injection sight shield after completing the reconnection of the air flow meter electrical connector to its proper location on the air flow meter.
