    A: The replacement of heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) 1 requires the following tools: Oxygen Sensor wrench (J 39194). Oxygen Sensor wrench (J 39194). Start the procedure by removing the sight shield from the fuel injection and shutting off the ignition switch. Start by taking off the ho2s retaining clip from its bracket and disengage the ho2s electrical connector tab from the retaining clip before removing the electrical connector retainer. Start by lifting the vehicle into position then remove the rear Oxygen Sensor from the Exhaust Manifold by using the Oxygen Sensor wrench (J 39194). Engine temperatures exceeding 48°c (120°F) protect oxygen sensors from being difficult to remove. When installing the rear Oxygen Sensor position it in the rear Exhaust Manifold and apply a special anti-seize compound to the threads before installation. The application of anti-seize compound p/n 5613695 or equivalent must be present on new sensors and reused sensors before installation. Tighten the rear ho2s to 41 n.m (30 lb ft) before lowering the vehicle while reconnecting the electrical connector to the ho2s. Finish the installation by joining the fuel injector sight shield, attaching the ho2s electrical connector tab to its bracket and installing the electrical connector retainer.
