How to replace the wiper arm on 2005 Buick Rendezvous?

Before Wiper Arm replacement start by switching to accy mode and setting the Wiper Switch to delay then turn off the ignition when wiper arms are in static innerwipe position. Begin by unscrewing the washer nozzle's washer hose followed by removing the Wiper Arm nut cover to extract this nut from the wiper transmission drive shaft. The Wiper Arm puller (J 39822) enables removal of wiper arms from wiper transmission drive shafts. Subsequently detach wiper blades from wiper arms while cleaning the wiper transmission drive shaft knurling with a wire brush. To install the wiper system first position the Wiper Blade onto the Wiper Arm followed by mounting the Wiper Arm onto the wiper transmission driveshaft. Wiper Arm clearance distance measurement must extend to the solid windshield blackouat edge at 40 mm (1.57 in) above it for the left-hand side and 160 mm (6.30 in) below it for the right-hand side. Position both wiper arms perpendicular to the Wiper Blade tips. Afterwards mount the Wiper Arm nut to the wiper transmission driveshaft while applying 48 n.m (35 lb ft) torque to it before placing a Wiper Arm nut cover. Install the washer hose on the washer nozzle using windshield washer solvent for easier attachment while also checking wiper functionality afterward.
