How to replace the wiper arm on 2006 Buick Rendezvous?

Switch the car to accy position and set the Wiper Switch to delay before turning ignition off when wiper arms reach their inside position without movement. To start work detach the washer hose from its nozzle then unmask the Wiper Arm nut cover and unscrew the Wiper Arm nut from the wiper transmission pivot shaft slot. The Wiper Arm puller tool j 39822 removes the Wiper Arm from the wiper transmission shaft before you separate the Wiper Blade from the arm. Apply a soft wire brush to scrub the knurls on the wiper transmission shaft properly. Install the Wiper Blade first onto the Wiper Arm before fixing the Wiper Arm onto the wiper transmission pivot shaft. As you tighten the bolt per specifications hold the passenger side Wiper Arm tip toward its mark on the driver glass while holding the driver side wiper tip aligned with its mark on the passenger glass. Secure the Wiper Arm nut to the wiper transmission shaft and tighten it to 48 n.m (35 lb ft). Set the cover on the Wiper Arm and attach the washer hose to the nozzle. Apply windshield washer solvent to the hose beforehand. Then check if the wipers work effectively.
