How to replace the coolant pipe (LP1, LY7) on 2005 Cadillac CTS?

The vehicle requires elevation and support before commencing Coolant Pipe (LP1, LY7) replacement. Begin by taking out the Coolant Pipe to generator bracket bolt before you lower the vehicle. Start by emptying the cooling system and severing the radiator outlet hose from the Coolant Pipe. Start by detaching wiring harnesses from the coolant inlet pipe which is followed by removing Coolant Pipe to thermostat bolt then Coolant Pipe to cylinder head bolt before removing the Coolant Pipe. Begin your installation by fitting the Coolant Pipe then connect all Coolant Pipe bolts but leave them loose. First tighten the Coolant Pipe to thermostat bolt to 10 nm (89 inch lbs.) before tightening the Coolant Pipe to cylinder head bolt to 50 nm (37 ft. Lbs.). After repositioning the vehicle place the Coolant Pipe to generator bracket bolt before torquing it to 10 nm (89 inch lbs.). You need to link the radiator outlet hose to the Coolant Pipe while you mount the wiring harnesses onto the coolant inlet pipe. Complete the procedure by filling your cooling system.
