The replacement process for power steering and air conditioning drive belts starts with the removal of the generator along with Water Pump belts. Use a clockwise motion on the Drive Belt tensioner to produce tension reduction before removing the power steering pulley belt while releasing the tensioner. You should then detach the Drive Belt from the accessory drive pulleys. When installing the Drive Belt you should first put it into position on the Crankshaft Pulley and idler pulley and A/C Compressor before rotating the Drive Belt tensioner clockwise. Set the power steering pulley Drive Belt into position before the tensioner release while the belt finds its correct positions inside the accessory drive pulleys' grooves. The generator and Water Pump Drive Belt should be installed last.
