How to replace the Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) Bank 2 Sensor 2 on 2005 Cadillac SRX?

To get the Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) Bank 2 Sensor 2 replaced, first make sure the ignition is OFF and lift and hold the vehicle. Unplug the HO2S electrical connector and pull out HO2S wiring harness from transmission case. It is also noted that removal is easier when the engine temperature is above 48°C (120°F). You need to remove the HO2S lightly, to ensure that the pigtails and connector that are forever attached don't get damaged. When replacing the new HO2S, apply anti-seizal compound P/N 5613695 or equivalent to the threads if recycling a sensor, and torques the sensor to a consistent torque reading of 40 Nm (30 lb ft). Unplug the HO2S electrical plug back in and connect the wiring harness to the transmission case and then lower the vehicle.
