How to replace the thermostat (LH2) on 2005 Cadillac STS?

When installing a new Thermostat (LH2), drain the cooling system first, remove the air cleaner outlet duct, followed by the Radiator Hose and heater hose from the Thermostat Housing. Next, remove the bolts and take out the Thermostat Housing and Thermostat along with the water housing, discarding the seal ring. Take out the Thermostat from the housing and clean the sealing surfaces of the Thermostat Housing and water housing. Insert the new Thermostat in the Thermostat Housing, then the new seal. Replace the Thermostat Housing with the Thermostat and seal back to the water housing, and then put the Thermostat Housing bolt and tighten the bolt to 10 nm (89 inch lbs). Lastly, reattach the heater hose and Radiator Hose to the Thermostat Housing, reposition the outlet duct of the air cleaner, and fill up the coolants.
