How to Replace the Coolant Pipe in the Surge Tank Outlet (LH2) on 2005 Cadillac STS?

The first step to replace Surge Tank Hose/Pipe (LH2) requires draining the cooling system followed by fuel injector sight shield removal. First apply force to the clamp using a wire tool before detaching the surge tank outlet hose from the surge tank. After that disconnect the hose from components (1 and 3) on the dash front facing section. Use a clamp compressor to extract the surge tank outlet hose from its position on the heater hose. After that, pull the surge tank outlet hose/pipe from the engine compartment. Instillation requires positioning the surge tank outlet hose/pipe into the engine bay while using a clamp compressor to join the surge tank outlet hose with the heater hose and then installing hose retainers (1 and 3) at the dash front surface. Complete the installation by filling the cooling system after securely attaching the surge tank outlet hose to both the surge tank and fuel injector sight shield then reinstalling the surage tank outlet hose.
