    A: Physically elevating the car will enable access to replace the Heater Core after draining the cooling system. A drain container should sit under the Water Pump drain opening before using bolt drivers to remove the drain bolt. After draining the coolant you must securely fasten the bolt at 10 n.m (88 lb in). A hose clamp pliers (SA9111E) should be used to shift the heater outlet hose clamp while detached hose ends of the heater outlet and heater inlet are extracted from the Heater Core. Apply the same procedure also to the heater inlet hose. You must start by taking out both the Heater Core cover together with the Heater Core itself. If the foam Heater Core seal on the lower hvac case appears damaged you must replace it with kent industries adhesive black foam tape (P/N 46480). Place the new Heater Core into the hvac module after which you should install the Heater Core cover. Hose clamp pliers (SA9111E) should be used to reattach and secure the heater outlet hose while repeating the same hose clamp procedure for the heater inlet hose. The cooling system needs to be filled as the final step to finish the Heater Core replacement.
