How to replace the rear Motor and Transmission Mount on 2005 Chevrolet Cobalt?

Before withdrawing the rear transmission mount, first lift and hold the vehicle. Remove the rear transaxle mount through bolt and heat shield followed by the rear transaxle mount to frame bolts, and then remove the rear transaxle mount. For installation, the rear transaxle mount and heat shield, hand-starting the bolts. Make sure to tighten the rear transaxle mount to frame bolts 60 nm (44 ft. Lbs.). Rotate the rear transaxle mount heat shield clockwise to seat the tab on mount bracket and hand start the rear transaxle mount through bolt. It is essential to enable the front and rear transmission mounts to settle as the through bolts are loosened, so loosen the front trans mount through bolt. Finally, tighten the transmission mount using bolts in this sequence: rear bolt to 100 nm (74 ft. Lbs.), and front bolt to 100 nm (74 ft. Lbs.). Lower the vehicle.
