To replace the output speed sensor, one must disconnect the wiring harness from the output shaft speed sensor. Next you need to take out the output speed sensor bolt and remove the output shaft speed sensor and the O-ring. For installation, apply GM T-IV automatic transaxle fluid GM P/N 88900925 to the new output speed sensor O-ring and install it onto the output speed sensor. Then, insert the output speed sensor into the transmission case assembly and bolt the output speed sensor, tighten the bolt to 6 Nm (53 inch lbs.). Lastly, connect the output shaft speed sensor with the wire harness.
