    A: To change Crankshaft Position (CKP) sensor, raise first the vehicle. The CKP sensor electrical connector should be disconnected, the CKP sensor nut then removed, and the CKP sensor obtained from the engine. If retaining the CKP sensor, check it for wear, cracks or leakage. For installation, each O-rings must be lubricated with the clean engine oil and, if the O-rings are damaged, they should be replaced. Mount the CKP sensor to the block and fasten it with the CKP sensor Nut in a figure 11 N.m (97 lb in). Finally, plug the CKP sensor plug back in, and you can lower the vehicle.
