  A: To repair the valve guide seal and valve spring you need to prepare the Spark Plug port adapter (J 22794) and valve spring compressor (J 38606). Start by disconnecting the spark plugs then take off the valve Rocker Arm with Pushrod assembly. Put the Spark Plug port adapter (J 22794) in the Spark Plug hole and connect an air hose to it to feed compressed air into the service cylinder. Use a rubber mallet to gently tap the valve spring retainer when the valve keys do not loosen easily. Use the valve spring compressor tool j 38606 to press the valve spring and remove the valve keys through magnetic assistance. Meanwhile replace the valve spring compressor tool (J 38606) and remove the parts in this order: retainer, valve spring, valve guide seal and shim. Put some clean grease on the valve tip before placing it and the shim inside. Position the valve spring compressor (J 38606) on the valve spring assembly and use it to pack down valve parts. Apply clean grease to the grooves of valve keys. Install the keys using a small magnet or acceptable tool until they reach their proper positions before letting go of the special device. Set the valve spring compressor (J 38606) aside then put back the spark plugs and valve Rocker Arm and Pushrod assembly.
