In order to remove the lower timing chain guide, loosen the timing chain tensioner shoe and move the crankshaft sprocker in a manner to create slack. Removal of the cylinder head access hole plug and lower timing chain guide bolts followed by removal of the guide. Install guide and bolts, access hole plug, and finally, the crankshaft sprocket, aligning it.
