The replacement of an Ignition Coil requires first disconnecting the negative Battery Cable before removing the intake manifold cover. Start by disconnecting Spark Plug Wires from your targeted Ignition Coil before removing bolts enabling Ignition Coil extraction from the Ignition Control Module. Before installation secure the Ignition Coil on the Ignition Control Module through mounting using Ignition Coil bolts then tighten the bolts to 4.5 n.m (40 lb in). Connect the Spark Plug Wires to the Ignition Coil following which you should replace the intake manifold cover before reattaching the negative Battery Cable.
