How to replace the Camshaft Position Sensor on 2006 Buick Lucerne?

The process of camshaft position (CMP) sensor replacement starts by removing both the coolant recovery reservoir and Drive Belt. First disconnect the engine harness electrical connector from the cmp sensor location. After that remove the sensor bolt and take out the sensor from its position. Fasten the new cmp sensor with its bolt and tighten it to 10 n.m (89 lb in) following fastener notice instructions. Attach the engine harness electrical connector to cmp sensor before placing back the Drive Belt and coolant recovery reservoir into position.
