To change the Crankshaft Position (CKP) Sensor, first, use the J 45059 Angle Meter to remove the crankshaft balancer. Next, have the engine harness electrical connector disconnected from the CKP sensor, then remove the CKP sensor shield, then have the CKP sensor studs with the sensor removed. For installation, starting with the installation of the CKP sensor and studs, stick to the tightening process to tighten the studs to 20 N.m (15 lb ft)+40 degrees with J 45059 Angle Meter. After that, reattach the CKP sensor shield and reconnect the engine harness electrical to CKP sensor before finally attaching the crankshaft balancer.
