To check the transmission mount, firstly, it is possible to insert a block of wood covering the width of the bottom of an Oil Pan towards the jack girdle to avoid damage of an Oil Pan with possible fail of engine. After that use a jack or utility stand to lift the transmission/transaxle and take the weight off the transmission/transaxle mount and cause a little bit of tension on the mount. Examine the mount of transmission/transaxle in searching for any of the following conditions: cracks on the rubber at the surface, separation of rubber from the metal plate, or splits from center to the rubber. If any of the above are present replace the transmission/transaxle mount. If there is slight movement between the metal plate of the transmission/transaxle mount and the transmission, tightening the transmission mount fasteners to the correct specification tightening.
