How to replace the A/C Expansion Valve on 2006 Cadillac CTS?

In order to replace the thermal expansion valve (TXV), initial check leaks using Halogen Leak Detector. All you have to do is to remove the I/P Retainer and insulation, the HVAC line clamp screw and clump. Uncouple the TXV and the evaporator core, lubricate the O-rings and fit the TXV. Re-fit I/P Retainer, HVAC line clamp and insulation.
