How to replace the left side engine mount on 2006 Cadillac CTS?

The replacement of the left side Engine Mount requires users to lift and support their vehicle after installing a screw jack fitted with a wooden block positioned under the Oil Pan. A screw jack should elevate the engine to reduce pressure on the mount following lower mount retaining nut removal. Transferring the vehicle Engine Mount requires upper Engine Mount retaining nut removal and removal of the mount from the vehicle body. You must position the Engine Mount in its designated spot then apply the upper Engine Mount retaining nut and torque it to 80 n.m (59 lb ft). Position the engine securely on top of the mount through engine screw jack usage and proceed to install and tighten the lower retaining nut to 80 n.m (59 lb ft). End the process by taking away the screw jack and block of wood from beneath the Oil Pan while lowering the vehicle.
