How to replace the Steering Angle Sensor on 2006 Cadillac DTS?

To change Steering Angle Sensor you will have to disable the sir system, then remove the Steering Column from the vehicle. Next, remove boot seal, Steering Shaft seal, sensor retainer, and sensor locator from the Steering Shaft, then remove Steering Angle Sensor. In installation, slide the Steering Angle Sensor on the Steering Shaft and push in, sensor locator, sensor retainer, Steering Shaft seal, and boot seal. Finally, put back the Steering Column into the vehicle and start the sir system.
