How to replace the blower motor on 2006 Cadillac STS?

Start the blower motor replacement by removing the right insulation panel and the instrument panel compartment. Detach the electrical plug on both the blower motor and blower motor processor. Use a screwdriver to unscrew and mark the air inlet housing bolts and remove the screws that secure the blower motor unit. Secure the blower motor with the given screws by turning them to 1.5 N.m torque setting (13 lb in). After that you should put the air inlet housing bolts in place and fasten them at 6 N.m (53 lb in). Reattach the electrical lines to both the blower motor processor and motor and return the I/P compartment panel and right closeout insulator panel.
