How to replace the rear Ride Height Sensor for the electronic suspension on 2006 Cadillac STS?

One must first raise and support the vehicle before removing the tire and wheel to replace the rear position sensor for the electronic suspension. You need to separate the ride sensor link from both the upper control arm ball stud and the connector of the ride sensor harness. Begin by loosening the rear ride sensor retaining nut followed by gentle tapping of the rear ride sensor retaining stud to detach it from the frame. The rear ride sender needs to be carefully taken out from the components of the vehicle. During installation you should place the sensor inside the vehicle with the empty keyhole receiving the stud. Reposition the sensor along with its bracket until their tab appropriately enters the slot while making adjustments for level positioning. The rear ride height sensor retaining nut must be installed while tightening it to 9 Nm (80 inch lbs.).
