How to replace the water pump (LC3) on 2006 Cadillac STS?

The first step to replace lc3 Water Pump requires draining the cooling system. First remove the cooling fan and after that take apart the air-conditioning system and power steering components together with the Water Pump Drive Belt. Disconnect the pulley bolts from the Water Pump and removing both items before proceeding with the Water Pump bolt removal. The process includes setting up a suitable drain pan to capture coolant during Water Pump and seal removal so you can prevent reusing the seal. Check and clean each surface of the Water Pump unit before inspecting it. Set the new Water Pump on its mounting position above the engine and fasten the bolts at 10 nm pressure. The Water Pump Pulley needws installation with bolts that you will tighten to 106 inch lbs (12 Nm). Put back the Drive Belt tensioner and Drive Belt first and then add the cooling fan. Finally, fill the cooling system.
