How to replace the fan shroud on 2006 Chevrolet Cobalt?

You need to remove the cooling fan assembly before you begin the replacement process of the Fan Shroud. First draw marks on cooling Fan Blade positions along the motor shaft then remove and dispose the blade-retaining clips before taking out the cooling Fan Blade. Everyone should detach cooling Fan Motor bolts before removing the cooling Fan Motor from the system. Install the cooling Fan Motor according to the specifications by attaching bolts and tightening them to 8 nm (70 inch lbs.). Insert the cooling Fan Blade onto the motor shaft with the help of scribe marks on both components then fasten it with new retaining clips. Reposition the cooling fan assembly within the vehicle as the final step of the replacement process.
