How to replace the A/C Switch control module on 2006 Chevrolet Corvette?

The HVAC Control Module replacement requires the instrument panel's accessory trim plate removal followed by HVAC Control Module screw retention and module extraction. You need to disconnect all wires which supply power to the HVAC Control Module. Secure the HVAC Control Module to the i/p trim plate by tightening all retaining screws to 1.9 n.m (17 lb in) strength as indicated in the fastener notice. Installation proceeds by first reattaching control module electrical connectors followed by screw plate installation and lastly by reconnection of electrical wires to the module. Connect the electrical connectors to the HVAC Control Module then replace the i/p accessory trim plate. After engine startup maintain a minimum one-minute operational period while avoiding HVAC Control Module control adjustments since interruptions produce substandard hvac performance and engine operation fulfills the calibration criteria.
