How to replace the cabin air filter on 2006 Chevrolet Equinox?

Start the passenger compartment air filter replacement by removing push pins at the rear of the RH air inlet panel followed by hood opening and removing push pins at the top and forward edge of the RH air inlet panel to take off the RH air inlet panel. To remove the filter begin by depressing the release tab at the inner part of the filter housing. Remove the filter from the vehicle after separating it from the housing. The new filter should be placed into the vehicle and the loop-shaped push pins should be used to attach the RH air inlet panel at the forward and top edges. Place the hood back in position while finishing with the push pin installation at the rear part of the RH air inlet panel.
