  A: Before starting Brake Pad replacement work (J65, JL9), check the brake master cylinder reservoir fluid level. Drain enough fluid when it is above the midway point mark between the two acceptable levels. After lifting the vehicle and placing support stands under it you should take out the tire and wheel elements. Complete the brake reservoir to its right level then gently work the brake pads and rotors to achieve effective stopping power.
