How to replace the rear axle upper control arm on 2007 Buick Rainier?

Start by lifting and supporting the vehicle before undertaking replacement of the rear axle upper control arm. Begin replacement by removing first the wheel and the tire then the wheelhouse panel. Follow by raising the rear axle to achieve its designed D-height for support. Remove the rear axle upper control arm mounting bolt and nut from vehicles with air suspension systems by depressurizing the system then disconnecting the air suspension sensor link from the control arm. Start by disassembling the rear axle upper control arm from its mounting bolt secured to the axle followed by the control arm frame mounting bolt before extracting the rear axle upper control arm itself. Place the rear axle upper control arm into position before tightening the frame mounting bolt. Secure the rear axle upper control arm in position by installing both axle mounting bolt and nut and torque these mounting bolts to 131 N.m (97 lb ft). When air suspension is present, install the air suspension leveling sensor link between the rear axle upper control arm. After fixing the rear axle support you must install wheelhouse panel and tire with wheel so you can finally lower your automobile.
