How to replace the Knock Sensor for Bank 1 on 2007 Buick Rendezvous?

The vehicle requires raising and supports for Knock Sensor for Bank 1 replacement. First disconnect the engine harness electrical connector that services the right knock sensor before removing the knock sensor. The knock sensor comes with pre-applied thread coating from the factory so applying additional sealing material would be unnecessary. Additional sealant application on sensors can decrease their explosive detection capability. After applying the new knock sensor position it by tightening it to 25 N.m (18 lb ft). Reattach the engine harness electrical connector to the right knock sensor while lowering the vehicle to completion.
