How to replace the Radiator Grille Emblem on 2007 Cadillac CTS?

To start the Radiator Grille Emblem replacement process you need a Heat Gun model J 25070. Heat up the loose emblem with the Heat Gun (J 25070) at 152 mm (6 in) distance from the emblem surface. Rotate the heat evenly around the emblem to allow it to be pulled away from the grille. Gently erase the loose wreath part or crest part of the grille but take care not to hurt the painted surface. Use a plastic flat-blade to remove the old adhesive and take off all residue from the grille using 3M P/N 07501 or an equivalent product. Apply warm soap water to clean the area then dry it using a soft fabric cloth. To prepare the installation area use a cloth and wipe it with a 50/50 alcohol and water mix applied directly. Keep the tape away from your fingers and keep it free of dust or other foreign material. Put the emblem pins through the grille openings and press the emblem onto the surface for 30 seconds to allow full tape bonding.
