  A: You must turn off your vehicle ignition and load it before starting this work. Take out the rear wheel and detach the Wheel Speed Sensor connector from the Wheel Speed Sensor. The Wheel Speed Sensor must be discarded because you cannot use it again once it has been removed. To install the new Wheel Speed Sensor correctly direct its connector towards the brake caliper as you mount it. Position the Wheel Speed Sensor onto the hub assembly before putting the ring piece of abs sensor installer j 44252 onto the Wheel Speed Sensor. Install the abs sensor installer tool j 44252 to place the Wheel Speed Sensor in its correct position. Once the Wheel Speed Sensor is installed you need to check its output using a dmm by connecting it to the Wheel Speed Sensor connector followed by setting the device to ac voltage mode and observing if the reading exceeds 100 mv when the wheel rotates. Guide the wheel manually and attach the Wheel Speed Sensor connection before putting back the rear wheel and letting the vehicle down.
