The a/c system refrigerant does not need discharge for this procedure. Start the procedure by unbolting the A/C Condenser mounting points while moving the condenser aside to reach the auxiliary transmission oil cooler lines. You need to remove both the transmission oil cooler (TOC) lines away from their toc connection unit and detach the toc line from its retainer clip. Safely disconnect the toc to cooling fan shroud bolts then the lh front wheel followed by the lh front splash shield retainers before final removal of the lh front splash shield. The j 44827 transmission cooler quick connect enables detachment of front toc lines from the rear toc lines before removing the front toc lines. You should begin installation by placing the front toc lines before linking them to the rear toc lines. Reinstall the lh front splash shield after the lh front wheel while reattaching its retainers to the assembly. Secure the toc to cooling fan shroud bolts by torquing them to 6.5 n.m (58 lb in). Connect the toc line to the toc retainer clip before you attach the transmission oil cooler (TOC) lines to the toc and tighten all fittings to 20 n.m (15 lb ft). Reposition then reinstall the condenser as the final step of the procedure.
