Before placement, clean the threads on the Brake Caliper Bracket bolts that mate with the knuckle holes while applying threadlocker gm p/n 12345493 (Canada P/N 10953488) to 2/3 of the lower caliper bracket bolt length until it attains a full cure in about 10 minutes. The installation requires 2 Brake Caliper Bracket bolts which must get tightened to 130 n.m (96 lb ft). Install caliper guide pins through the caliper mounting bracket while making sure their guide pin boots lock into the retaining seats. Pull the caliper guide pin outward to verify complete seating before installing Brake Pad retainers and brake pads onto the Brake Caliper Bracket before mounting the brake caliper to the front Brake Caliper Bracket .
