A person must first remove both the generator and Water Pump drive belts while performing power steering and air conditioning Drive Belt replacement. You should apply clockwise rotation to the Drive Belt tensioner to detach the tension before removing the Drive Belt from the power steering pulley. After that release the tensioner carefully. The next step brings us to take off the Drive Belt from the accessory drive pulleys. Start by positioning the Drive Belt onto the Crankshaft Pulley and idler pulley before adding it to the A/C Compressor followed by clockwise rotation of the Drive Belt tensioner. Use the power steering pulley as you position the Drive Belt in the correct groove alignment of accessory drive pulleys while slowly reducing tension with the tensioner mechanism. The last step includes reattaching both the generator and Water Pump Drive Belt to its proper positions.
