How to replace the front Ride Height Sensor on 2007 Cadillac XLR?

The first step to replace the Electronic Suspension Front Position Sensor requires vehicle users to turn OFF the ignition switch combined with safely raising the vehicle on a suitable stand. Starting with tire and wheel removal you should disconnect the electronic suspension control (ESC) position sensor harness connector. The first task requires removal of the position sensor link from the control arm link stud with subsequent disassembly of the sensor mounting bolts before pulling out the position sensor from the vehicle. Return the position sensor to its vehicle position during installation while installing bolts and tightening them to 3 N.m (26 lb in). Attach the position sensor link to the control arm link stud before connecting the ESC position sensor harness connector and reattaching the tire-wheel assembly and then lowering the vehicle.
