    Q:
How to replace the front Ride Height Sensor on Cadillac XLR? Posted by Customer
    A:
The first step to change the Electronic Suspension Front Position Sensor requires turning OFF the ignition switch while using a suitable safety stand to lift the vehicle. You should begin by removing the tire and wheel assembly as well as disconnecting the electronic suspension control (ESC) position sensor harness connector. The process starts with removing the position sensor link from its attachment to the control arm link stud. After that, install a wrench to disconnect the position sensor mounting bolts before extracting the position sensor from the vehicle. Install the new position sensor by putting it into the vehicle while following the Fastener Notice for correct installation steps. Secure mounting bolts of the position sensor while using a torque wrench to tighten them to 3 N.m (26 lb in). Then attach the position sensor link to the control arm link stud and reconnect the ESC position sensor harness connector. After completing the above steps you need to reinstall the tire with wheel assembly after lowering the vehicle.
