Start by taking out the valve Rocker Arm and push rod units before touching the spark plugs. To contain valve movement during work, connect the Spark Plug port adapter (J 23590) into the Spark Plug port and direct compressed air at the valves. Breathe compressed air through the valve spring compressor tool (J 38606) until you can take out valve locks, spring, cap, and Valve Stem Oil Seal in that order. Put the new oil seal on the stem before using the valve stem seal installer j 42863 to place it correctly. Reposition the valve spring compressor tool part number j 38606 on the valve spring to depression it after valve locks fitting. Insert valve spring followed by its cap then position valve locks correctly. Unwind the valve spring and drop the Spark Plug port adapter (J 23590) to put back the spark plugs push rods and valve rocker arms.
