How to replace the front engine mount on 2008 Buick Lucerne?

The front air deflector serves as the first step in front mount engine replacement. An appropriate adjustable jack along with a block of wood should go beneath the Oil Pan. Second remove the Engine Mount bracket bolts and proceed by taking out the Engine Mount to frame nut and the Engine Mount to bracket nut. The adjustable jack working with a block of wood will lift the engine height for eliminating the Engine Mount. Set the new Engine Mount inside the engine bracket before final installation. Secure the Engine Mount bracket bolts at 70 n.m torque using 52 lb in foot-pounds and 65 n.m using 48 lb in foot-pounds when installing the bracket bolts. Secure the Engine Mount with the Engine Mount to bracket nut while tightening it to 80 n.m (59 lb ft). Lower the engine using the adjustable jack while installing the Engine Mount to frame nut until tightness reaches 80 n.m (59 lb ft). For the last step reinstall both the adjustable jack and block of wood under the Oil Pan before reinstalling the front air deflector.
