The service requires the flywheel holder (J 37096) to stop the flywheel movement before discarding the crankshaft balancer bolt without breaking the Crankshaft Pulley connection to the balancer. These parts need to stay as one assembly. Continue with installation of the crankshaft balancer puller (J 38197-A) to extract the crankshaft balancer. The installation process requires engine oil application on dual seals between the front cover and crankshaft balancer and between the new crankshaft balancer and engine oil surface. The torque angle meter (J 45059) will enable you to keep the flywheel stationary as you install the new crankshaft balancer bolt to 150 n.m (111 lb ft) torque plus 76 degrees. The installation process requires placing the torque angle meter (J 45059) away before you install the torque converter covers and wheel house liner and Drive Belt in their proper positions.
