    A: The front air deflector must be removed first before initiating the secondary air injection pump replacement. Begin by disconnecting the engine harness electrical connector from the secondary air injection (AIR) pump and proceed to remove the inlet hose quick connect fitting and the outlet hose quick connect fitting from the AIR pump. Begin by removing the AIR pump bolt after releasing the AIR pump nuts then raise and take out the AIR pump from the cradle bracket. Installation requires users to position and fasten the integral AIR pump nuts through cradle bracket holes before gently pushing the pump downward while properly securing the AIR pump bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in). Proceed by attaching the AIR pump outlet hose quick connect fitting along with the inlet hose quick connect fitting to the AIR pump while reinstating the engine harness electrical connector on the AIR pump. Resolution of the front air deflector completes the installation process.
