  A: You must disconnect the Battery Cable before starting the replacement process of the left side Fuel Level Sensor. Place the left Fuel Tank on a work area after its removal. The procedure for replacing the Fuel Level Sensor on the left side begins with removing three components: the Fuel Pump jumper harness from the Fuel Pump module and the jet line insert connector from the crossover tube to the Fuel Tank opening along with the fuel feed line from the welded clip on the side of the Fuel Tank. When removing the locking ring the Fuel Pump module should be handled with care because it springs upward due to the spring mechanism.
