  A: Before replacing the engine oil pressure sensor or switch users should first elevate and maintain the vehicle. First disconnect the electrical connector from the engine oil pressure switch. The Snap-On S 6152 Oil Pressure Sender Switch Crowfoot Wrench (1 1/16") or an equivalent wrench should be used to remove the engine oil pressure switch from the oil filter adapter. Before installing the new O-ring on the oil pressure switch you must follow the component fastener tightening notice. Use a Snap-On S 6152 Oil Pressure Sender Switch Crowfoot Wrench (1 1/16") or equivalent to mount the engine oil pressure switch to the oil filter adapter while applying 16 N.m (12 lb ft) of torque. After installing the new O-ring on the switch, connect the electrical wiring, lower the vehicle, set the oil level at full capacity then inspect for leaks upon engine engine start.
