How to replace the Coolant Pipe for the Radiator Surge Tank Outlet on 2008 Chevrolet Cobalt?

In order to replace the Radiator Surge Tank Outlet Hose/Pipe drain first the cooling system. Then, take out the underhood electrical center. Reposition the hose clamp of the surge tank outlet at the engine using the Hose Clamp Pliers (J 38185), and then remove the surge tank outlet hose from the engine. Reposition the hose clamp on the surge tank inlet hose with the Hose Clamp Pliers (J 38185) and take off the surge tank inlet hose from the surge tank. Unscrew the surge tank nut, release the surge tank, and once more with the Hose Clamp Pliers (J 38185) to relocate the surge tank outlet hose clamp prior to removing the surge tank outlet hose. For installation, route the outlet hose of the surge tank and attach it to the engine, securing it with the hose clamp by using the Hose Clamp Pliers (J 38185). With the surge tank lifted, attach the surge-tank-outlet hose and manage the hose clamp to secure it with the Hose Clamp Pliers (J 38185. Mount the surge tank nut and bolt it to 10 N.m (89 lb in). Change the underhood electrical center, attach the surge tank inlet hose to the surge tank and fasten using the Hose Clamp Pliers (J 38185). Finally, fill the cooling system.
