How to replace the Front Cross-Member for Transmission Support (2WD) on 2008 Chevrolet Colorado?

To replace the transmission support crossmember (2WD), lift the vehicle and make the transverse support using an appropriate stand or jack while holding the trans. Clarify the transmission support of the nuts retaining the transmission mount if the corresponding process falls into the category of the 4l60e/4l65e transmission or the aisin ar5 transmission. Next, lift the transmission and remove its vertical bolts and horizontal nuts and bolts that hold the transmission support to the frame, after which remove the transmission support from the frame. For installation, lift the transmission support and place it back on the frame, loosely tighten the horizontal nuts and bolts, and follow the fastener notice whenever possible. Then, loosely screw in the vertical bolts holding the transmission support to the frame. Tighten the horizontal nuts to rotational force of 50 n.m (37 lb ft) while the vertical bolts should be tightened to a rotational force of 100 n.m (74 lb ft). Lower the transmission and attach the nuts to the transmission mount and again observe proper procedure for the respective transmission. Lastly, jack the stand or the jack up and lower the vehicle.
