How to replace the Engine Oil Cooler Hose/Pipe on 2008 Chevrolet Corvette?

Place an oil drain pan beneath the car at the start of replacing the engine Oil Cooler Hose/pipe. First detach the engine Oil Cooler Hose/pipe from the Radiator before unscrewing its clip from the Fan Shroud. Begin by unscrewing the bolt that anchors the engine Oil Cooler Hose/pipe assembly onto the engine block, then unscrew the bolts that secure the hose/pipe to the oil filter housing. After discarding all seals remove the engine Oil Cooler Hose/pipe assembly from its position. Installation begins with the replacement of new engine Oil Cooler Hose/pipe seals before reattaching the assembly to its vehicle position. Fitting bolts with a torque of 12 n.m (106 lb in) will connect the hose/pipe to the oil filter housing and the second bolt with a torque of 25 n.m (18 lb ft) will fasten the assembly to the engine block. Place the oil drain pan under the vehicle until you complete the quick connect fitting installation by pushing it on while pulling it back. After you install the engine Oil Cooler Hose/pipe into the Radiator position you can finish by attaching the engine Oil Cooler Hose/pipe clip onto the Fan Shroud and refill the engine oil.
